Are You Working in the Dark is a guided visualization I developed together with Paul Bille. It can be performed irl, or played as a pre-recorded sound piece in combination with an installation of animated smart lights.

Does your work fit into a file cabinet? Do you pay rent? Are you working in the dark? We constantly use metaphors to understand complex processes, and it's no different with technology. But this language is not neutral, it's full of euphemisms, biases and agendas. This guided meditation explores the vocabularies and vernaculars we use in our understanding of technology, and attempts to find new ways of thinking about our digital working environments.
