The Dessert Needs the Rain. They dropped something, before we started counting years. No one around to notice. This series of animated posters follows the events right after the destruction of the device. They are the result of a collaboration with Sheona Turnbull during our time as students at the Sandberg Institute—an exploration of storytelling through layout and a mashup of styles, techniques and interests: of 2D and 3D, analogue and digital, nature and technology. The story was written in collaboration with Jan Egbers.

The series consists of three pieces: Scorched Earth, Desert Rain & Arctic Sun. All three are available as printed and animated posters.
